TUESDAY, JANUARY 26 (MOSHI, TANZANIA) We will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport  by a native safari guide who will escort us to the  Maridadi Hotel at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro.  Here, we’ll have a short briefing session with our  safari guide, and get a comfortable night’s sleep  before our adventure begins. (B, L)

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27 (MOSHI)  Awake to the African sunrise. We drive to Materuni Village, the last village before entering  Kilimanjaro National Park. We will have a guided  walk to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls where  we admire the 80 meter high cascades. After the  hike, we will return to the village for a traditional Chagga lunch before enjoying an interactive coffee  tour. After tasting the freshly prepared coffee we  will drive to Arusha Planet Lodge for dinner and an  overnight stay. (B,L,D)

THURSDAY, JANUARY 28 (TARANGIRE NAT’L PARK) After breakfast at our lodge, our safari adventure begins with a stop at  the Cultural Heritage Centre for a short Tanzanite demonstration and  shopping experience before continuing our drive to Tarangire National  Park, the third largest national park in Tanzania. Upon arrival at the park  gate you will enjoy a hot lunch before experiencing an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is famous for its vast savannah plains, large elephant  herds, and iconic baobab trees. You may encounter a variety of wildlife,  including zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, lions and the rare greater  kuda. Later in the afternoon, we’ll drive to Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge for  dinner and overnight stay. (B,L,D)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29 (KARATU) Begin the day with a guided cultural experience around Karatu. Here, we  will learn about local coffee-making from harvesting to roasting, followed  by visits to local carvers and a traditional beekeeping project to  experience the community’s craftsmanship and daily life. After the  excursions, we’ll return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the  afternoon relaxing and enjoying the lodge facilities and beautiful  scenery. (B,L,D)

SATURDAY, JANUARY 30 (NGORONGORO CRATER) After breakfast at our lodge, we will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater.  With its 5,000-foot-high walls, the crater is like a natural zoo, home to  one of the highest concentrations of wild animals in Africa. We will descend into this massive crater as early as possible to attempt sightings of rare animals like the black rhino. If lucky, we may even spot the rest of the Big Five all in one day. To end the day, enjoy breathtaking views from the crater rim and a panoramic dinner at sunset. (B,L,D)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 31 (NDUTU PLAINS/SOUTHERN SERENGETI) This day will be spent on the southern Serengeti, where the wildebeest migration gives birth to thousands of calves daily. The Serengeti is a vast plain  stretching 11,583 square miles from Kenya to the Maasai Mara Game  Reserve. It is home to over two million hoofed animals, 4,000 lions, 1,000  leopards, 550 cheetahs, and 500 bird species! These expansive plains, rich with green pastures and mineral soils, are a  feast for grazing herds. We are sure to see hundreds of thousands of wildebeests accompanied by zebras and gazelles. We may experience the  rare chance to witness dramatic wildlife action as predators engage the  herds. Along the way, learn first-hand about the lifestyle, traditions and  customs of the indigenous Maasai. Our evening will end with nature re vealing the quietness of the African savannah as we relax fireside. (B,L,D)

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1 (NDUTU PLAINS – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK) Rise and shine! Today you will enjoy off-road experiences allowing for  close unique wildlife scenes, game drives through the central Serengeti  areas. Witness the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley and the famous MoruKopjes, known for their scenic rock formations and excellent predator sightings. Later in the afternoon, we’ll travel together to Camp in Central  Serengeti for dinner and your overnight stay. (B,L,D)

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2 (HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI & SERENGETI) Early this morning, guests booked for the hot air balloon safari will be  transferred before sunrise to the launch site for an unforgettable balloon  experience over the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Have those  cameras ready! Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of wildlife and the sur rounding landscapes, followed by a bush breakfast after landing. Guests  not participating in the balloon safari may choose to depart early for a  sunrise game drive, an excellent opportunity to spot nocturnal animals  returning from their nightly hunts. Through the day, you will explore  these vast savanahs searching for wildlife, including wildebeests, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, elands, giraffes, and so much more. (B,L,D)

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 (SERENGETI AND PREPARE FOR FLIGHT) It’s our final day of discovering the beauty on the way to the Seronera Airstrip.
