Siouxland Travel has been around since 1979 and is a full service travel agency located in the tulip town of Orange City, Iowa. Our goal is to provide our clients personal and professional travel expertise while finding the best rates.
Our Staff:
Lisa joined Siouxland Travel in January of 2007. She enjoys learning and researching all the fascinating places the world has to offer. Lisa assists clients with international vacation packages, international tickets, corporate travel and general tickets. She has traveled with her family throughout most of the United States and recently she has traveled to Niagara Falls, New York City, Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC and the Riviera Maya.
Laurie has been around almost as long as Siouxland Travel has. Joining Marlys Rowenhorst in 1980, she has seen many changes in the travel industry. When the opportunity to own Siouxland Travel surfaced it seemed the natural thing to do. Now Laurie and Steve Roesner, along with Sheila and Paul Janssen, own Siouxland Travel and hope to use their small town values in big ways. The people we serve want a memorable vacation for a great value and that is what we do best. Laurie has done traveling to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Holland, England, Riviera Maya, etc and loves to talk to her clients about what destinations have to offer.
Sheila is a new face at Siouxland Travel jumping in as part owner with her husband Paul, along with Steve and Laurie Roesner, and also keeping the financial part running smoothly. Sheila has an uncanny knack of operating very calmly with much on her plate. Something that comes in very handy when working at Siouxland Travel. We are also anxious to use the Janssen's travel knowledge to put to use for our clients.
Bethany joined Siouxland Travel in May of 2004. She has much enthusiasm and excitement for the travel industry. She approaches her work head on attempting to take on new challenges. She enjoys working with the clients through the planning process to best assist with their requests. Bethany specializes in group travel, Mexico and Caribbean vacation packages, and general air ticket travels. Since working at Siouxland Travel, Bethany has had the opportunity to visit Arizona, California, Washington DC and the island of St Lucia.
Linda has been with Siouxland Travel since 1996. She has traveled within Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Mexico and throughout the United States. Linda has also led groups to Florida, San Francisco, New York, Hawaii & Washington DC. So whether you want to hike along the Great Wall of China with your friends, spend a romantic week in the Caribbean with someone special, or take the family to see our nation's capital, Linda has the knowledge and expertise to plan that perfect vacation.
Ginny helps out part-time. She works at least one day a week and stays very busy. She maintains most of the ordering of brochures, supplies, and whatever Siouxland Travel needs. She also does much filing and upholding of the office as well as any researching that needs to be done. Ginny also has a heart for travel. She has enjoyed traveling with Siouxland Travel to Las Vegas, Boston, Alaska, and Hawaii and a special family trip to Sweden.
Cindy joined Siouxland Travel in October 2007. She works part-time assisting clients with their various travel needs. She has traveled extensively throughout the US and the Caribbean and has a real passion for helping you plan the ultimate vacation escape. Whether it's a ski vacation, a golf get-away, or a weekend in the city, she can help you make your trip a vacation to remember.
